Lithium Ion Battery Charging Cabinet (4kWh, Dual Door) – Fire-Resistant Storage System

The Justrite Lithium Ion Battery Charging Cabinet is designed for charging and temporary storage of lithium-ion batteries in workplace environments. It supports up to 4 kWh TECR total capacity and includes an internal power strip with eight receptacles for charging multiple batteries simultaneously. A heat-reactive label on the exterior changes color at 120°F to indicate rising temperatures, and the fixed internal shelf supports up to 65 pounds. The cabinet measures 24" H x 43" W x 18" D.

This cabinet incorporates the ChargeGuard multi-layer protection system, which includes multiple layers of shielding designed to reduce risks associated with lithium-ion battery fires and thermal events. It is constructed from 18-gauge double-wall steel with a 1.5-inch air gap and includes flame-arrester vents, heat-activated expanding door seals, spring-loaded dampers that close at 135°F, and a pressure-relief vent with an integrated filter to help contain smoke and gases. A locking paddle latch and three-point stainless-steel latching system secure the contents.

An integrated axial fan provides ventilation during charging to help manage internal temperatures and is designed to close airflow if heat levels rise. The cabinet is powered by a dedicated 120VAC/60Hz GFCI supply using a minimum 14-gauge cord. Its benchtop design allows placement on work surfaces without occupying floor space, supporting controlled charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries.
