The Justrite Lithium-Ion Battery Charging Cabinet is designed for safely charging and temporarily storing lithium-ion batteries in the workplace. It supports up to 4 kWh TECR total capacity and includes an internal 8‑receptacle power strip for charging multiple batteries at once. A heat‑reactive label on the exterior changes color at 120°F to indicate rising temperatures, and the fixed internal shelf can hold up to 65 pounds. The cabinet measures 24 inches high, 43 inches wide, and 18 inches deep.

The cabinet uses Justrite’s ChargeGuard multi-layer protection system, incorporating several layers of shielding to reduce the risks associated with battery fires and thermal runaway. Its construction features 18‑gauge double‑wall steel with a 1.5‑inch air gap, flame‑arrester vents, heat‑activated expanding door seals, spring‑loaded dampers that close at 135°F, and a pressure‑relief vent with an integrated filter to help contain smoke and toxins. A locking paddle latch and three‑point stainless‑steel latching system secure the contents.

An axial fan provides ventilation to help maintain safe temperatures during charging, and automatically closes off airflow if internal heat rises too high. The cabinet is powered by a dedicated 120VAC/60Hz GFCI supply using a minimum 14‑gauge cord. Its benchtop design allows it to sit comfortably on a work surface without taking up additional floor space. The cabinet offers a controlled, secure environment for mitigating lithium‑ion battery fire risks while allowing routine charging operations.
