Flame spread is a key safety factor in applications ranging from home-built aircraft wiring to managing sound and lighting cables in clubs, concerts, and theaters. To meet these challenges while offering superior flexibility and accessibility, we developed this specialized sleeving. The self-extinguishing F6® meets UL standard VW-1 and incorporates an organic flame inhibitor within its triaxially braided split design, creating an ideal solution for a variety of cable management needs. With its easy slip-on installation, full-length access, durability, cost efficiency, and UL-certified flame resistance, F6® ensures safe and effective wire and cable organization. Available in black with a white tracer for quick identification as flame retardant.

What Are The Benefits of Using A Split Braid?

Flexo F6® is a unique split, semi-rigid side entry braided sleeve (also referred to as split loom or wrap around sleeve). F6® offers the standard protective qualities of braided sleeving with some added benefits including:

Easy Installation: Split braided sleeving can be installed easily without the need to remove or disconnect any wires or cables. The split design allows the sleeving to be wrapped around the cables, and features a self-closing construction. 

Flexibility: The split design allows the sleeving to flex and bend without causing any damage to the wires or cables inside. This makes it ideal for applications where cables need to move, route around corners, or bend frequently.

Organization (& Reorganization): Split loom can bundle multiple cables together for one streamline harness while allowing cables to be added or removed without removing the split sleeving.
