When both flame resistance and easy accessibility are priorities, Flame Retardant Flexo® Tight Weave™ provides the perfect balance. Originally developed with aircraft manufacturers as an upgrade to Standard Grade FR, this sleeving is made from tightly braided 9 mil flame-retardant monofilament for superior coverage of wire harnesses. The dense braid enhances abrasion resistance—a key factor in aviation applications—while the use of 9 mil monofilament (rather than 10 mil) minimizes added weight without compromising protection.
